This is a great way to teach someone the feel for a proper swing..If your not a strong left sided think, you can still start the hip turn with the right side and everything will still stay tight.
Just another way to help sync up hands and the body. There is no one way and this video is not inteded to provide people with a soup-to-nuts explaination of the golf swing.
This video was produced for people who hit behind the ball. This only addresses a “particular” problem of when a person’s hands stop moving through the hitting area causes pre-mature release/fatting in this case. Excellent question and thanks for posting. Cheers, Jon Cote
It seems to me that this wouldnt hold true for someone who favors a full backswing. Its becoming growingly popular for people to convert to a 3 quarter swing to minimize the possiblity for “screwups” but if we were to take this to a full swing wouldnt mean that the firing of the lower body should happen first without the hands until the 3 quarter position such as hogan has taught(i may be wrong on the dynamics, though in a full swing it is taught to lead with the lower body).
